Today:
1. Complaint letters were returned. I went over the rubric and items to improve for each letter.
2. IELTS Reading Practice: matching headings (titles) to paragraphs: Robots. Analysis of three types of vocabulary groups (false cognates, intl. exams regular vocabulary, guessing meaning from context)
3. Problem-Solution Essay Planning. This term, we are planning all our essays and showing evidence of that planning. Today we listed the following planning items: a. Problem, b. Cause/Causes, c.Solution/Solutions, d. Personal opinion
Independent Work/Homework:
1. Further Reading Practice. Read the text titled Colorblindness. It can be found in Virtual Sabana-Week 8-Class Activities-Reading:Headings to Paragraphs-Click on the guide
2. Providing solutions to problems copy (essay planning). Think of other problems related to your essay´s main issue, their solutions, and results of those solutions.
